A reflection on 2021
2021 was a season of mostly good fortunes. Ros posted excellent results across the levels, Lordships Graffalo winning two CCI4*-S and finishing runner up in two CCI4*-L; both Izilot DHI and Shannondale Nadia won CCI3*-L classes, and Pencos Crown Jewel successfully stepped up to CCI5* level with a fourth place finish at Bicton.
Ros had the unenviable task of being travelling reserve with Allstar B for the Tokyo Olympics, never an easy role to fill but one she threw herself in to. Selected on both Allstar B and Lordships Graffalo for the European Championships, it was Allstar B back on the road. Lying in second place after the dressage, the twisty cross country course took its toll and the pair picked up penalties – although the team did bring home the gold medal.

The last 3 weeks have been pretty busy but what fantastic memories I get to make with special people. Juggling being a Mummy, trying to be a great rider, and fitting in a few extra things along the way certainly creates its challenges, so thank you to my team at home for getting Walter and I to this point. I couldn’t do it without you all keeping me on track. Not having Caroline Moore Event Coach by my side this week will a new challenge. I miss her a lot but have her words and thoughts in my head always. See you all there…👊![]()
